ADBA Scholarship Winner
Tyler Simpson 2005
A $1,500.00 Scholarship was awarded to Tyler 
Simpson, from Newalla, Oklahoma to attend Rose State College in his chosen field of Education. Tyler has been involved with the 89ers APBTC, volunteering with clean up and handling the weight pull cart, as well as training and pulling his own two APBT’s. He has been an honor student throughout high school and a volunteer in community service projects with the National Honors society. “Tyler is a leader, in that he initiates activities, accepts responsibility and conscientiously completes any project that he undertakes. He is dependable, works well independently, and possesses a sense of curiosity in new ideas. Unlike many teens, he is capable of independent thinking and does not succumb to peer pressures that are opposed to his strong sense of moral values. In addition he is a sensitive person, who has concern for others, both adults and fellow students. His positive attitude is a pleasure for all who work with him.”
