Kristi McCabe has been a working member of the Green Country APBT Club, Inc for a long time. She has traveled all over the U.S. with her parents showing dogs first as a Junior Handler, then in Conformation classes. She also helps train and pulls her family’s dogs in Sanctioned Weight Pulling competition. To promote the dogs in her community, she has walked with her dogs in local parades. Kristi has a strong sense of community and has assisted her high school with charity projects such as the ‘Christmas Angel’ program as well as a canned food drive for the community food bank. Her notable achievements in High School include her leadership position with the Band Council, and as a member of the National Honor Society. In Kristi’s letter of recommendation from her High School AP English instructor, she was recognized as … “especially adept at nosing out the news and doing follow-up interviews to strengthen her stories for the school newspapers. Kristi is teachable, accepting constructive criticism, and is always making a genuine effort. I have recognized her as a leader with the music department, a responsible person and dedicated to getting the task done.” Kristi plans to attend Northeastern State University at Tahlequah to pursue her college degree. At this time, her interests include photography, culinary arts, teaching and pharmacy.
