Morgan Fuller 2014

Our first recipient is Morgan Fuller. She recently graduated high school and plans to fulfill her dreams to become a flight nurse. She intends to continue showing her American Pit Bull Terriers and she’d also like to become an ADBA Sanctioned Judge one day. She loves to be a role model for young children, showing them that hard work does pay off.

Morgan has been showing dogs across the U.S. since she was 4 years old. She has won Junior Handlers over 40 times, then moved up and started showing in regular and Champion classes. Morgan has spoken in city council meetings to show support for APBT’s. She is part of the Western Carolina APBTC.

Throughout high school, Morgan was involved with numerous clubs and extracurricular activities. She was on the Lady Warrior’s soccer team and has been on the cheerleading team for 4 years. She also had the honor of being chosen as the 2013-2014 Varsity Cheer Captain. She has been involved with student council since she was a sophomore and as of her senior year she served as Student Body President and Senior Class Historian.

One of her letters of recommendation stated: “I have watched her grow into this wonderful young lady she is today. Along with this development, I’ve seen her love and knowledge of our wonderful breed – the APBT – grow also.”

Another stated, “I have watched Morgan grow from a little girl who liked dogs to an intelligent, young, bulldog tough woman.”
