The American Pit Bull Terrier:The Ultimate Working Breed
Hicks’ Chesty Murphy spent a lot of his youth as a house dog, but in the last two years he’s done nothing more but doing what he loves to do best.
Hog Hunting Texas Style!! Chesty has done very well in Central Texas along with many other Hicks dogs as far as “Working Dogs” goes.
Were especially proud of Chesty because of how quickly he has mastered the art of hunting wild feral hogs, from being just another house dog! He’s caught many hogs from his own size up to 300 lbs since starting his working dog career. In this case, he’s proven he’s smarter and more agile then the hog within just a matter of moments!
Once this feral hog in the photo was spotted, Chesty was released, and he caught and handled this hog with the greatest of ease. Hicks’ Chesty Murphy. Another working American Pit Bull Terrier from the Hicks Family of Dogs
