April 7, 2021
Dear Members and Supporters,
I am fed up with law makers passing legislation to tighten the noose on animal enterprise, while ignoring the facts and science-based testimonies from those who testify in opposition to animal rights-driven bills with the hope of being spared. What I have witnessed this year in state legislatures across the country has been outrageous!
Last Thursday, on April 1, 2021, Colorado House Bill 1102, also known as the Consumer Protection for Dog and Cat Purchasers was amended in the Senate Agriculture & Natural Resources Committee.
I was so outraged after listening to the Committee hearing last week, I just had to compile the evidence so people can see for themselves how law makers ignore the facts! And you will see in this video, Senator Fields actually has “concerns” about harming small business and pet stores across the state of Colorado, but then announces that she will still be voting YES.
You just cannot make this stuff up!
Listen to them in their own words for yourself by watching the video. We had two allies in the Colorado Senate Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee. Senator Sonnenberg and Senator Coram. Both voted no. Senator Sonnenberg made comments in the hearing that were outstanding and I included his comments in the video! A must listen!!
HB1102 does NOTHING to protect consumers and does NOTHING to protect animals. It’s nothing more than an animal rights driven piece of legislation by animal rights ideologues who are using their legislative power to harm legal businesses in Colorado and beyond!
Thank you for watching and sharing the video below!
And thank you for taking action by contacting Colorado State Senators and urge them to vote NO on HB1102, the Consumer Protection for Dog and Cat Purchasers. A link to the entire hearing is available in the comments below the video.
